Mission Statement
Manhattan Christian Academy educates urban children to succeed in life through Christ-centered quality education that builds character, knowledge, and purpose.
Vision Statement
MCA will be a model Christ-centered school with a Preschool through Grade 12 program that will meet the needs of NYC students and their families. A variety of spiritual, academic, social, cultural, and physical learning experiences that are challenging, relevant, and creative will make education productive, meaningful and attractive. All subject matter will be taught to our 1200 plus students from the Biblical perspective of creation, fall, and redemption.
Students will acquire wisdom, knowledge, and a Biblical worldview as evidenced by a lifestyle of character, leadership, service, stewardship, and worship. We will be a school that values the primacy of the family, covenanting with them in the education of their children including gifted and special needs. Racially and economically diverse families from the Metropolitan New York Area will attend our school, with sensitivity to immigrant, poor, and single parent families.
In the next five years, we will strengthen our present program spiritually, academically, socially, culturally, and technologically. We will secure suitable property for 1200 students with elementary and secondary educational facilities.
In 10 years, we will have constructed new school facilities that will, within 20 years, be developed into an integrated school and community center. We will provide learning, recreation, and family services that will further enable parents, the local church, and the community to live life according to biblical principles.
