Accessible & Diverse

While we have families of all incomes represented, many of them would not be able to afford a private, Christian education. Generous donors keep tuitions lower than the $6,800 average cost per child. In addition we grant $375,000 in financial aid. 41% of our children come from households that meet low-income guidelines.

Over 95% of our student body is Latino, Caribbean, or African American.

Location

We are located at 205th Street and Ninth Avenue in Manhattan's Washington Heights/Inwood neighborhood.

Free School Bus or Public Transportation
  • In Manhattan, there is a school bus making stops along Broadway north from 135th Street.
  • Alternatively, children in grades K-8 may qualify for a Student MetroCard for use on the MTA. MCA is accessible by Subways 1 and A, Bronx Fordham Road BX12 Select Bus Service, and other surface lines.

Commitment

MCA offers a nurturing environment to bring children to the fullest as students.

Academic Ability

Our desire is to have every MCA graduate on a college preparatory track for high school. Therefore, every MCA student is expected to perform. English language proficiency required.

Behavior

We believe a child's education is enhanced by a disciplined and orderly environment.
