HIGH SCHOOL
Where faith and excellence meet…
High School Academics
MCA’s high school program provides a rigorous, engaging, college-preparatory education rooted in a Biblical worldview and grounded in God’s truth.
Bible, English, history, science, physical education, art, and music are taught through traditional, teacher-led instruction, challenging students to think critically, engage deeply with course content, and develop the knowledge, skills, and character necessary for college and beyond.
MCA utilizes Enlightium Academy specifically for mathematics, allowing us to offer a variety of course levels that meet individual student needs and support appropriate academic progression, as well as select electives and foreign language courses that expand opportunities for our students.
Across every subject, MCA is committed to academic excellence, meaningful student engagement, and the integration of a Biblical worldview, preparing students to serve and lead by knowing God and understanding His world.

Devotional Time: Students engage in daily devotionals to cultivate spiritual growth and reflection.
Physical Education and Health: A comprehensive program promotes physical well-being and healthy lifestyle choices.
Art and Music Classes: Hands-on projects and interdisciplinary learning emphasize creative expression and skills.
Weekly Bible and Book Studies: High school students meet weekly to read, discuss, and apply biblical and Christian texts to their lives and challenges.

Elective Opportunities
Utilizing an online curriculum allows students to choose from a variety of electives across different content areas. This flexibility not only encourages independence but also prepares students for the responsibilities of college coursework by allowing them to follow and manage their syllabi.
Past Reading Selections
During our weekly Bible studies, we have explored thought-provoking texts, including:
What Do You Think of Me? Why Do I Care? by Edward T. Welch: A deep dive into identity and the human desire for approval.
The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis: A unique perspective on spiritual warfare and moral dilemmas.
The Gospel of John: A foundational text for understanding Christian faith and theology.
Pilgrim’s Progress: In John Bunyan's allegory, students accompanied Christian as he made his way through life's trials and temptations en route to the Celestial City.
These readings foster meaningful discussions and help students apply their insights to everyday life.
