9th-10th Grade

Manhattan Christian Academy High School uses a hybrid in-person/online model. Students complete most of their schoolwork with an online Christian school, Enlightium Academy. Students enjoy working independently and at their own pace within the due dates set by Enlightium. Being in class while doing online work also allows students to discuss their studies and get help and support from peers and teachers.

Mission

Enlightium’s mission is to support every unique student on their journey to embrace their God-given talents, develop a lifelong thirst for knowledge, display a Christ-like spirit, and care for their community with kindness, respect, and love.

Academics

Core BIBLE courses include Old Testament Survey, New Testament Survey, Bible Doctrine, and Foundations for Living.

ENGLISH courses emphasize the importance of word usage, sentence construction, and paragraph structure to communicate effectively. Students investigate literary genres, including poetry, short stories, drama, and novels. Students practice their own skills through writing and the study of oral reading and speech.

Core HISTORY courses include World Geography, World History, U.S. History, Economics, and Civics.

Core MATH courses include Algebra I & II, Geometry, and Pre-Calculus.

In-person time and instruction include devotional time, gym, art, music, and technology.
